Turkish Dentistry as a Global Standard: JCI Accreditation of Esnan and Reformatting of Outpatient Practice

Esnan Dental Clinics announced the receipt of accreditation from Joint Commission International (JCI) — an independent organization that evaluates medical institutions according to international standards of quality and patient safety. This recognition makes Esnan the first private dental clinic in Turkey with such qualification.

Esnan received accreditation under the ambulatory care program on July 2 following a comprehensive inspection conducted from June 29 to July 1. JCI evaluated patient safety practices, clinical processes, management structure, and quality assurance systems of the clinic. Now Esnan has the right to use the Gold Seal of Approval — a globally recognized symbol of JCI that confirms the quality of medical care and safety.

JCI evaluation criteria for ambulatory care

JCI standards cover key operational areas: standardization of clinical processes and treatment workflows; infection prevention and control of its spread; safety in invasive procedures and sedation; management, systematic quality improvement, as well as confidentiality and protection of patient data.

Esnan’s achievement reflects commitment to international healthcare standards, implementation of continuous quality management systems and standardization of clinical workflows in ambulatory practice. JCI accreditation operates on a three-year cycle, with organizations required to continuously maintain compliance with requirements and conduct performance monitoring.

History of the clinic’s international recognition

This result complements a series of international achievements by Esnan. Previously, the clinic received the highest score in the Excellence in Dental Tourism program from Temos International. In June 2026, Esnan Dental Clinics and its manufacturing division Esnan Digital Laboratory were named the world’s first Diamond Partner of Amann Girrbach — this is the highest level of partnership, providing for strategic cooperation and structured training. Straumann Group recognized Esnan as the clinic with the largest volume of operations in Turkey in 2025.
