A highly qualified dental surgeon and Ph.D. with over 30 years of experience in clinical and educational activities. She specializes in periodontal-surgical treatment methods, soft tissue grafting, and laser therapy, and is actively involved in the field of neuromuscular dentistry and functional diagnostics.

After graduating from N.A. Semashko Moscow Medical Dental Institute in 1993, she completed clinical residency, postgraduate studies, and pedagogical internship at MSMSU. In 1999, she defended her Ph.D. thesis. From 1999 to 2004, she worked as an Associate Professor at MSMSU, then at the European Medical Center (2004–2019), and since 2021, she has been an Associate Professor at the Department of Surgical Dentistry of the E.V. Borovsky Institute of Dentistry (Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University). She continuously enhances her skills through international courses (Hungary, USA, Europe) and mastering laser technologies (started working with lasers in 2004).

Her scientific activity includes over 50 publications, 18 educational manuals, participation in the creation of the textbook "Dentistry," and two patents for methods of periodontal disease therapy. Areas of interest: bone and soft tissue augmentation, periodontal surgery, laser technologies, myofunctional therapy, and functional diagnostics for sleep apnea and restricted breathing.

As a recognized lecturer, Dr. Romanenko conducts lectures and practical courses on periodontal plastic surgery, laser therapy, and myofunctional therapy — including in-person master classes such as "Surgical Methods for Treating Chronic Periodontitis," "Mucogingival Surgery: Vestibuloplasty and Frenuloplasty," "The Art of Surgical Suturing," and others, and also participates in Interdisciplinary Functional Seminars (Otexe.com, DentalCommunity).
