Dental implant manufacturer Osstem is preparing a comprehensive educational and exhibition program for the 33rd annual congress of the European Association for Osseointegration (EAO), which will take place in Lisbon from September 24 to 26. The program will combine scientific sessions, practical master classes and a presentation of the new KS implant line. The company will place its booth in pavilion D17 (hall 2) and will conduct both theoretical and interactive classes.
On September 24, the company will support the session “EAO My first implant” (8:30–13:00), an initiative of the EAO Youth Committee, aimed at clinicians beginning practice in implantology. At the Osstem booth, visitors will be able to explore clinical approaches and workflows in the field of implantation, guided surgery and guided bone regeneration.
September 25 (12:30–12:40) as part of the innovative EAO forum, marketing manager of Osstem’s Portuguese office Marta Pintu will present KS 3 — a new implant positioned as the cornerstone of the next decade. The new KS line, debuting in Europe at EAO 2026, also includes modifications KS 3T and KS 5, developed for different clinical indications.
September 26 (12:45–13:45) will host an Osstem industry forum with the participation of doctors Silvio Mario Meloni, Darko Božica and Marco Tallarico. The session topic is “Sinus lifting in modern implantology: rationale, innovations and clinical recommendations”. The discussion will focus on rehabilitation of the posterior maxilla, including patient selection, treatment planning, lateral and crestal sinus lift techniques, as well as the role of digital planning and guided surgical approaches in improving the accuracy and predictability of results.
The company is preparing to celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2027, and the new KS line reflects a strategy for further development based on accumulated clinical experience. The focus on experience sharing will continue at the Osstem Autumn Meeting in Prague on November 13–14 under the motto “Mastering the unexpected: Pathways from complications to predictable success”, where international experts will discuss the prevention, recognition and management of complications in implantology.
