Marco Ferrari

Professor and Dean of the Faculty of Dental Medicine at the University of Siena. He founded and led the doctoral program "Dental Biotechnology and Clinical Applications" and has held the position of Professor Plenipotentiary since 2003. He was also Vice-Rector for International Relations and is the Director of the Department of Dental Biotechnology.

Dr. Marco Ferrari also worked at Tufts University (Boston) as a research professor, has a visiting professor at the University of Rochester (USA), the University of Xi'an (China) and universities in Europe.

– More than 550 international and 260 national publications, about 160 abstracts; index H = 118, more than 50,000 citations

– President and member of the boards of many professional associations: Academy of Dental Materials, European Federation of Conservative Dentistry, IADR Central Europe, European Prosthodontic Association, etc.

– He headed Italian dental schools and merged the faculties of Florence and Siena into a single structure of the Tuscan School of Dental Medicine
