Innovations in endodontics emerge from the interaction of scientific research, clinical experience, and technological development, which is why continuous dialogue with practicing clinicians becomes critically important: they are the first to encounter the advantages and limitations of new approaches in daily practice.
Endo Forum 2026, held in Alcalá de Henares (Spain), brought together international endodontic experts to discuss pathways for sustainable development of the discipline and identify trends that will determine its future. Participants had the opportunity to test newly launched products and prototypes, including testing during breaks.
Interactive sessions covered digital workflows, new capabilities of the DS Core cloud platform, localization of root canal orifices, next-generation motors, channel formation and obturation (filling) methods, as well as innovative approaches to restoration of the coronal part of the tooth.
According to Prof. Ove Peters, Deputy Head of the Department of Dentistry at the University of Queensland (Australia), requirements in endodontics vary from region to region, but many clinical tasks remain universal. Exchange of experience with colleagues from different countries allows not only comparing approaches, but also evaluating developments from different perspectives, which often generates ideas relevant far beyond individual markets.
The forum presented instruments implementing the latest advances across the entire spectrum of endodontic treatment.
